COMP Cams®, TCI® and Racing Head Service™ To Provide $12,000 In Contingency Awards For 2006 Engine Masters Challenge

The dominant force in previous competitions, COMP Cams® again looks to be odds-on winning camshaft manufacturer at 5 th annual running of prestigious event

COMP Cams®, along with COMP Performance Group™ companies, TCI® and Racing Head Service™ (RHS™), announced today that they will offer contingency prize money for the top six finishers in the 2006 running of the Engine Masters Challenge. Currently scheduled for Oct. 2-7 and sponsored by Popular Hot Rodding magazine, the involvement of COMP Performance Group™ companies in the Engine Masters Challenge contingency program is not surprising, considering the past history dominance of winning engines equipped with their products, especially camshafts and balancers.

For 2006, COMP Cams® will offer contingency awards for those competitors running their camshafts, while RHS™ will offer similar awards for competitors running RHS™ cylinder heads. The TCI® Rattler® torsional vibration absorber has become an almost mandatory component of winning Engine Masters Challenge engines over the past few years. In an effort to support those racers who are running the Rattler® and other TCI®-produced balancers, TCI® is also offering contingency award money.
