ROSTRA INTRODUCES PARKPILOT FRONT PARKING AIDE

LAURINBURG, N.C. - Rostra Precision Controls Inc. has introduced its new ParkPilot(r) Front Parking Aide that can detect moving and static objects within 1' in front of the vehicle.

The ultrasonic smart parking system features Rostra's Dynamic Scan Memory that allows the sensors to memorize the vehicle's bumper environment on activation and alert drivers to unseen obstacles before a collision occurs.

The ParkPilot Front Parking Aide automatically powers on when the ignition is engaged, turns off when the vehicle exceeds 10 mph and powers on again when the vehicle drops below seven mph. An adjustable, high/low volume, internal audio device alerts drivers to obstacles detected by the system. The audio unit features an "on/off" switch
and a "mute" function.

Rostra's smart parking system sensors provide a 120-degree conical area of detection. The sensors can be mounted to flat, angled or curved bumpers and are available in a wide array of colors to best match the vehicle's paint finish.

The ParkPilot Front Parking Aide is universally designed to fit virtually any vehicle (a drill tool is available to achieve the most accurate fit). It is backed by a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.

The ParkPilot Front Parking Aide complements Rostra's original ParkPilot system for detecting obstacles during rear parking maneuvers.
